Individual Players as Playmakers

The Individual Players as Playmakers report uses an Assist to Goal ratio (that calculates the degree to which each player is a playmaker) to calculate and rank the degree to which a player is a playmaker. The resulting report is a ranking of those players that have a higher propensity to be playmakers.

💡
It's important to note that because of the nature of how the Playmaker ratio is calculated (i.e., Assists to Goals), defensemen will naturally rank higher -- they pass and assist more frequently than they score. So, be sure to factor in a player's position when replicating this metric or creating your own.
